Artist is a proven Bull, having sired some very handsome males and gorgeous females. Unfortunately, we now have too many girls sired by him and are forced into a decision of change, due to lineage and limited acreage.
He is not halter trained. However – Artist is an extremely docile and reasonable animal. Very well behaved. Respects hot wire fencing. We get Artist into a chute using a lead rope with one of us on each end, moving him across 2 paddocks. (He acts like he’s running from a brick wall!)
Artist is very protective of his herd, but respectful toward the hand that feeds him. His easy disposition has passed through his offspring so wonderfully. Despite excess white on his registered Dam, there has been no white coloring cross over to any offspring beyond female udders and behind male genitals.
We encourage serious prospective buyers to come see the beautiful offspring that Artist will be leaving behind! Just expect to see two grown humans shed some tears. This will not be an easy task for us. We know, all too well… whomever decides to take Artist home will be so pleased… and so very lucky to have this handsome boy!
We are asking $2,500.00. Price includes ADCA/Legacy registration transfer – Veterinarian Certification – Annual Vaccinations – Deworming – USDA ID Tagging. Vaccinations are according to State of Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture requirements. Out-of-State Buyer will need to inform us of vaccines required in their state before we schedule Vet farm call, in order to have those vaccines administered prior to pickup.
Buyer must come pick up Artist. We are unable to deliver, due to the fact that we have no help on our property. And Dwayne works an outside full-time job. We will not agree to any hired transport picking up and delivering, other than Freedom Farm Dexters. Buyer is responsible for cost of having Freedom Farm Dexters deliver Artist.
